The Story of Witness Studios
It All Started With An Idea
Brennen Faelin had just left college after Covid shut down the world. What if he could use his God-given skills in videography to fulfill God’s missions in San Diego? Witness Studios was born!
Though he always loved creating impactful videos for his church and friends, videography wasn’t in Brennen’s plans for ministry. In 2019 when God called him to full-time ministry, he wasn’t sure whether that path would take him to Bible college or the other side of the world for that matter!
He Took A Leap Of Faith
One of the biggest things he knew he could do in the short term, however, was to create God-honoring video content that inspired people and gave them new perspectives in life.
With this goal, he started Witness Studios in 2021 with the mission of helping ministries in his area create impactful videos. The Lord quickly helped him establish his first ministry project: the story of a pro-life clinic’s triumph over a very dark situation. It was proof to him that God’s favor was on this new idea, and he continued to expand the business.
Where We Are Today
Fast forward to the present day, and Witness Studios now serves over 15 different Christian nonprofits a year with high-quality video production services. He’s hired multiple editors and part-time staff to continue to expand their capacity.
In 2024, He started the donor’s fund, a nonprofit arm of Witness Studios that allows people who want to get involved to donate to Witness Studios with tax-deducible support.
Today, Witness Studios focuses on creating impactful video projects that capture the mission and heart of local San-Diego-based ministries for up to 40% lower production costs. This empowers them to use critical communication tools to increase their support and mission awareness without finances being an obstacle.
